Minister of Foreign Affairs Nikola Selakovic sent a message of condolences to Secretary of Foreign Affairs of the Philippines Teodoro Locsin Jr., following the devastating typhoon that struck this country.

“We were deeply shaken by the news of the natural disaster that hit your country, in which a large number of people lost their lives and were injured, and significant material damage was inflicted”, reads the telegram from the Minister.

Extending the expressions of deepest condolences to the families of the victims and wishes for a speedy and successful recovery to those injured, Selakovic stated in the telegram that our country sympathizes with the people of the Philippines and that we are ready to provide all the necessary support, within the scope of available capacities.
